 As a Secure Supplies Media  Business Development Representative (BDR), you are an “A Player” and are the master of building Sales Qualified Leads within your geographic territory.  The BDR is a key part of selling products and services that help drive online and offline referrals that drive qualified actions. BDRs creatively leverage outbound calls, emails, social and other direct response media to help marketers maximize their revenue. 

The ideal candidate has high integrity, a proven track record of professionalism, loves the thrill of the hunt, and excels in building and growing a pipeline of business. They also have experience navigating through organizations, doing deep discovery and selling to multiple decision makers.

You will be the front line of the sales process and spend your days prospecting into businesses with a digital footprint across all marketing verticals (retail, financial services, travel, etc.).  You are comfortable being uncomfortable with a ‘can do-will do’ attitude.  You will be measured by your seamless handoff of qualified leads to the sales team and additionally compensated on closed business.

BDR Responsibilities will include:

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel Energy Power Gas Magazine  pipeline in North America through identification and proper qualification of business opportunities and qualified leads

  • Outbound prospect to companies via cold calls (80+/day), emails, social and other direct response media

  • Utilize advertising industry knowledge to research & develop accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and identify compelling events

  • Conducting high-level discovery and educational conversations with Senior Executives (C-Level, VP/Director) in target accounts

  • Prepare executive summaries to turn your Business Development Managers into gurus ahead of their calls

  • Collaborate with and leverage teammates (Management and Business Development Managers) to develop targeted lists, communication strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities

  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Energy Power Gas Magazine  product and services offerings, unique value propositions in contrast to Energy Power Gas Magazines competitive set.

  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce

  • Exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
