The Business Development Manager  will sell our media platform delivering on technology and client services to medium and large size businesses across commerce oriented verticals-Energy,Oil,Gas,Power,Mining,Maritime,Aircraft,Rail and Trucking to name a few.  


Our Sales Executives develop and build strong and consultative prospect/client relationships through the prospecting and sales processes.  This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development, currently based in Arizona.


Do these things interest you? You will:

  • Capture market share by developing/executing on an aggressive advertiser and agency acquisition sales strategy

  • Identify, develop and qualify new advertiser sales leads within assigned territory

  • Identify advertiser decision makers and build strong relationships with advertisers and agencies

  • Prospect, cold call to current clients and close net new advertiser contracts

  • During the Client and Down Stream Sales process, work closely with cross departmental employees to jointly define program parameters that meet client and Secure Supplies Media  needs and quarterback successful down Stream Sales process submission.

  • Understand our competitors’ services and selling techniques and be able to effectively sell against them

  • Frequent travel (~30%) within assigned territory and industry trade shows

  • Work well in a self-directed environment, adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment and a willingness to be an active participant within a team


What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of direct sales experience in a consultative solution sales environment

  • At least 3 years of advertising, affiliate marketing, or digital media experience

  • At least 1 year experience in online marketing; this experience may be concurrent with above experience

  • Experience selling to the C/VP/Director level and providing best recommendations and guidance

  • Strong knowledge of Publisher/Affiliate models (content, search, loyalty, coupons/deals, mobile, etc.) a plus

  • Strong knowledge of online advertising revenue models (CPM, CPC, CPA) a plus

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills

  • Ability to write and manage full Sales Stream process in line with our goals.
