While Mr. Sirichiraphongphan Minister of Energy Revealed after discussions with more than 30 solar panel manufacturers and suppliers about the solar power generation policy that The Ministry of Energy has informed entrepreneurs to prepare to compete in the solar cell business in Thailand. Because the government has increased the amount of solar cell production to 12,725 megawatts at the end of the plan of the 2018-2037 Power Development Plan or PDP 2018, divided into the public sector electricity (electricity production Solar power on the roof or solar roof top) 10,000 megawatt and floating solar power in the dam of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) 2,725 megawatts.

Such will be larger. Which entrepreneurs have to prepare as well as investments and personnel, panel installation etc.

In addition, the government wants to invite people to join the public solar project. Since the current solar panel installation price is much cheaper than the last 3 years, the promotion of the project will help the production of photovoltaic power as the main energy in the future. In addition, it also prepares the electricity trading (trading) solar cells in the future if it is produced in large quantities.

However, the initial plan to purchase 100 megawatts per year for 10 years before then will be promoted to follow the 10,000 megawatt PDP 2018 plan. .)

Will announce the details of the phase 1 public solar project, 100 megawatts pilot in 2019, by allowing people, communities, households or entrepreneurs who cooperate with the community to proceed and share The benefits continue Can join Which will be a project that truly reaches people
