This technology has higher thermal efficiency than conventional tankless heaters owing to moving heat rather than converting it.Convection of heat in  our heaters are 70% eliminated as the water is heated by ions travelling between electrodes, which is the same principle as used by stanley Meyers

Electrodes will then retain somewhat higher temperature as tey execute this process,

which will add to the heating efficiency by some convection as well.

This must not be confused with the energy requirement in calories for increasing temperature.

One calorie (added or released) will alter temperature one degree in a defined volume Operation of the unit is automatic, where the on/off function is determined by operating the tap.

This is competing with heat-pump and all known methods for water heating - including heating of homes.

Some heat-pumps may under ideal conditions have higher conversion factor of EL to energy than 100%. However, high overheads, maintenance and depreciation may reduce the benefits significantly.
