You need:

Small oil-free shop compressor that puts out 85 psi (6bar).

Air hose to connect the shop compressor to the ShoeBox. These are standard fittings.

A high pressure 4500 psi hose with a Parker female fitting to connect to the ShoeBox output. The other end of the hose needs a fitting to match your tank

Almost any small shop compressor capable of 85 psi (6 bar) will feed the ShoeBox with enough air.
The shop compressor DOES NOT RUN CONTINUOUSLY and only kicks on a few times during a small tank fill.

"I just received my compressor back today, from having the NEW retrofit kit installed. Belt drive and hardened pistons. The upgrade is well worth it. From what I can tell, there is about a 26db (+/- a few db) difference between my two units. That’s standing about a foot away from each unit.
Unit 757/3K Chain drive = Avg. 98db
Unit 198/4.5K Belt drive = Avg. 72db
My unit # 198 has a little over 600 hours on it so far. And I haven’t had any issues at all with it yet, also only rebuild three times so far.

Hardened Tool Steel Piston Option!
We have sourced M4 hardened tool steel pins for the pistons.
These are the pins used in injection molds to push out the finished parts. They are made to cycle millions of times in molds and they are polished to a very smooth finish.
They are great for heavy users that want to extend oring life. They do reduce some of the collar pressure adjstment range because they are only available in 10" not our standard 10 1/4" length. Very reasonable way to lower maintenance and extend life.
