Hydrogen From Aluminium
Note
Since you have Now Studied the Above videos you can note the below video is very pretty and a good example, but it has some major design flaws,
First is from my basic home water filter test, we know this one below won't work as it will over heat as the allow will floats, so a cage to keep allow to bottom is required or the design below,
Also he adds liberally alot of alloy this is way to much and will burst tanks in a out of controll fashion,
Things must be measured and applied carefully if it is a known yeild or temp range and pressure that way it is controlable, just pouring in alot of alloy and starting reaction will cause trouble.
There also should be a Water trap dryer compress ,or type and some pressure release valves.
All is at your own risk and all should be away from open flame and out doors.
Remember we Can slow fill and low pressure and fill metal Hydride slowly , there is no rush
we can this safely and slow and steady with no troubles. and have same gas in tanks in a safer way.
All are good examples to study and learn from, and plan for better.
Start Small test and learn the methods and mixes it is easy if you start small and than you can respect the fuel your making.
Pressuring H2 is faily dangerous and correct tanks must be used not normal lpg tanks or compressor tanks while they work over time the metal will fatigue from h2 degragation so tank made for the purpose should be used or carbon fibre tanks which have not troubles etc.
Remember start right with right parts and rated parts, as you will be tempted to fill and raise pressures.
Having right rated components means higher saftey.
