What's CHP ?

Secure Supplies Power CHP/Cogeneration/Trigeneration Gas Engine Generator Power Plant ranging from 30kw upto 4500kw, which can be driven by world top engines Cummins, MAN, MWM, CNPC 190 and Low Speed 300 Series Engines.

Combined Heat and Power (CHP)/cogenerating System is the on-site generation of electricity and the utilization of the heat that is a by-product of the generation process (exhaust gas and hot cylider water).

For a wide range of buildings, CHP can offer an economical method of providing heat and power which is less environmentally harmful than conventional methods.

For Generator Set, combined heat and power (CHP) integrates the production of usable heat and power (electricity), in one single, highly efficient process. CHP generates electricity whilst also capturing usable heat that is produced in this process. This contrasts with conventional ways of generating electricity where vast amounts of heat is simply wasted. In today’s coal and gas fired power stations, up to two thirds of the overall energy consumed is lost in this way, often seen as a cloud of steam rising from cooling towers. Their relative sophistication means that the overall efficiency of CHP plants can reach 65-80% or more.

As an energy generation process, CHP is fuel neutral. This means that a CHP process can be applied to both renewable and fossil fuels. The specific technologies employed, and the efficiencies they achieve will vary, but in every situation CHP offers the capability to make more efficient and effective use of valuable primary energy resources.

CHP plants provide local heat, electricity and sometimes even cooling to various types of users. Because the energy is produced locally, CHP has the added benefit of avoiding efficiency losses incurred through transmission and distribution of electricity through the National Grid and local distribution networks. Around 7% of energy would usually be lost when the network is used to transport energy from the generation source to the user.

Distributed energy consists of a range of smaller-scale and modular devices designed to provide electricity, and sometimes also thermal energy, in locations close to consumers.

They include fossil and renewable energy technologies (e.g., photovoltaic arrays, wind turbines, microturbines, reciprocating engines, fuel cells, combustion turbines, and steam turbines); energy storage devices (e.g., batteries and flywheels); and combined heat and power systems.

Distributed energy offers solutions to many of the nation's most pressing energy and electric power problems, including blackouts and brownouts, energy security concerns, power quality issues, tighter emissions standards, transmission bottlenecks, and the desire for greater control over energy costs.

Secure Supplies partnered and agreed with  2 cnc producers  in 2014 to machine  and assemble design specific CHP Turbine equipment and Heat to Power Handling in our proprietary deigns for clients.

Our Small group CHP workshops in USA and Thailand are family owned companies

and we all at  Secure Supplies believe the best turbine cnc cutting vendor and turbine steel assembly pros for projects designed by Secure Supplies.
