ZED Exchange

Crypto Echange Based on PArticl.jpg

We are proud to announce that ZED/ Particl will soon be expanding its ecosystem with a brand new distributed application: BasicSwap / Bisq

BasicSwap / Bisq is a cross-chain and private decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol that allows you to swap one cryptocurrency for another without any middleman or third-party being involved.

It lets you make or take orders on a distributed order book and execute swaps that are safe, trustless, unrestricted, and private.

Decentralizing funding and governance to make Bisq self-sustaining and censorship-resistant.

WHY?

Revenue distribution and decision-making cannot be decentralized with traditional organization structures—they require legal entities, jurisdictions, bank accounts, and more—all of which are central points of failure.

The Bisq DAO replaces such legacy infrastructure with cryptographic infrastructure to handle project decision-making

and revenue distribution without such central points of failure.

Particl friendly DEX is powered by the atomic swap technology and the SMSG network, making it entirely decentralized and devoid of any central operator. No KYC, no trickery, no false promises. Just pure decentralization and privacy.

And yes, in case you were wondering, it is fully compatible with Monero (XMR) and will be right from the get-go!

WHAT IS THE ZED EXHCANGE  DAO?

Through the ZED Exchange , the Bisq DAO enables value transfer from traders to contributors without centrally-held bank accounts or wallets . This enables trading fees to be distributed to project contributors without any banks, corporations, or other legal entities—keeping ZED Exchange stateless & sovereign. = Private and Secure

The ZED network is organized as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). The ZED DAO's purpose is to make the ZED's governance model as decentralized and censorship-resistant as the ZED network itself.

The ZED founders realized that decentralized software—no matter how technically robust—is no good if it’s still controlled by a single entity. All the software’s technical strength would be worthless if the whole project could be ruined by attacking the single entity that runs it.

Thus the need for decentralizing the resources in charge of running Particl /Bisq . These resources cannot be organized in the form of a company, a nonprofit, or any other traditional organization because a single entity would be a single point of failure. But what to do? How can a project do anything useful without becoming an organization with some kind of structure? How can strategy be determined? How can resources be allocated? How can work get done? How can revenue be earned, and how can it be distributed?

The ZED  project needed infrastructure to provide these functions, and the ZED DAO is its solution.
